Our beginnings

We met on Tinder and have been happily married for 9 years. 

 

 

 

 

Wedding

Heidi and Rex were married in December of 2016. We were married in the Provo City Center Temple. Heidi has a very pink personality and it was meant to be when we found her a pink wedding dress. To be married in a pink temple was just icing on the cake. 

 

 

 

 

 

Infertility journey

Our infertility journey has been a long and hard road. About 6 months after we were married, Heidi found out she had severe endometriosis. It prevented us from getting pregnant for a couple of years. Before we did IVF, she had a major surgery to go in and remove as much of the endo as possible. That was the miracle that enabled us to pursue IVF and we are so grateful it worked. We have three amazing boys from that process.

Our Education

Rex has a Bachelors Degree from Southern New Hampshire University. He majored in Operations Management with an emphasis in Transportation and Logistics.

Heidi has her Bachelors and Masters Degree from the University of Utah. She majored in Social Work with a minor in psychology, and she has a Masters in Social Work (MSW) as well

Professional Careers

Rex currently works for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He works at a Bishops' Storehouse as the Storehouse Forman. It's a fulfilling career being able to help people who are in need. The storehouse provides an essential service for those who are food insecure. 

Heidi is currently a stay at home mom with our three boys. She has worked as a medical social worker in a local hospital. Her degree and experience has been invaluable to raising our children. She is a wonderful mother and has the know-how to help our kids navigate any difficult situation that life may throw at our children.

Extended Family

Heidi is the middle child of three. She has an older brother and younger sister. We live with her parents and mutually support each other. Her siblings and their families live within five minutes of us. We are really close with them and see them for dinner every Sunday.

Rex is the second oldest of four. He has an older sister who is special needs and two younger brothers. His family lives down in Washington County. We get to see them occasionally and it's really fun when we get to road trip down to see them.
